Shipping Methods & Estimated Transit Time

We offer reliable shipping options from our China warehouses directly to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Air Freight

Takes 3 to 7 working days from the flight departure date. Ideal for urgent or lightweight goods.

Sea Freight (Consolidation/LCL)

Takes 30 to 45 days from the container sailing date. Ideal for heavy, bulky, or commercial stock.

Note: Transit times are estimates and may vary slightly due to port congestion, airline schedules, or weather.

Pricing and Chargeable Weight

All-Inclusive Rates: Our freight charges are fully comprehensive. Your shipping fee includes customs clearance and port duties in Tanzania. No hidden fees.

  • Sea Cargo: Charged per Cubic Meter (CBM), based on the volume of your goods.
  • Air Cargo: Charged per Kilogram (KG). Large or bulky items may be charged by volumetric weight.

Payment Terms — Pay Upon Arrival

  • No Upfront Freight Payment: You do not need to pay shipping fees in China.
  • Payment on Delivery: All shipping fees must be paid in full upon the arrival of your goods at our Dar es Salaam office before cargo collection.
  • Accepted Payments: We accept cash, bank transfers, and local mobile money services.

Cargo Collection Office Location

Once your cargo arrives and clears customs, you can collect it from our main office in the heart of Kariakoo.

Location: Alfalah Building, 3rd Floor, Office No. C2

Cross Streets: Msimbazi Street and Livingstone Street, Kariakoo Area, Dar es Salaam.

Landmark: We are located in the same building where the KFC Restaurant is on the ground floor.

Safety, Inspection, and Liability

  • Prohibited Items: We strictly do not transport illegal goods, hazardous chemicals, counterfeit contraband, or flammable liquids.
  • Inspection: We inspect packages at our China warehouse to ensure proper packaging and safety compliance.
  • Liability: Coastland Cargo handles cargo with care. Any claim for damaged or missing cargo must be reported immediately at the time of collection for review. Coastland Cargo is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures, port congestion, airline schedules, weather, government inspection, or incorrect customer cargo details.
